looking for suggestions for a lunch stop or leg stretch on two of the longer days driving on our planned French trip. We'll be in a 6.5m motorhome - I've started searching 'motorhome parking' on google maps for what looks like about halfway in each case but any suggestions welcome. Doesn't have to be a restaurant because we like shopping for picnics, but somewhere nice to park up, and a view would be a bonus ! We'll probably be on toll/E roads on these stretches.
The first is Neufchatel en Bray to la Flèche - Alencon looks about halfway and the services is a distinct possibility, but anywhere else?
The second is Nantes to Lorient. La Roche Bernard looks nice but may be too early in the journey, Can't see anywhere obvious around Vannes or Auray (apart from services at St Goustain for the latter) not averse to going into the city if there is suitable parking; we've been to both before but in a car, not a motorhome.

Day 1. As you will be on the A28 toll motorway going south to La Fleche there will be picnic areas as well as service areas with fuel and cafes, all at regular intervals. I think you can delay your choice until you get there without planning it now. Choosing will be easy.

Day 2 As you will be on the toll free N165 road there will not be the same range of picnic areas and services so you are best advised to leave the dual carriageway and divert into a village and park there when you are shopping for your picnic.
