Anyone any ideas? We would like a site with direct access or very near a beach. A simple two star site or bigger with Acsi would be fine. Currently in the Dordogne and thinking a beach site would be a nice change. May head into Spain later so want to make it an easy journey if we do.

Lots of sites in the Leucate / Franqui Plage stretch of coast but I think it’s best for you to go and look. We did that from an inland site but found at the coast there was a risk of skin being flayed from our backs by the wind blown sand. There is a good reason for so many wind surfers down there. Good luck - the wind may have dropped and there will be few tourists about.

I have been to a site in Leucate for the past 2 years, and only had 2 days when it has been to windy to go on the beach, this photo was taken at 06.10 in the morning, 300 meters from the campsite, after taking the photo I went for a swim.
