Camping Les Terraces at Igoville near Rouen has now closed possibly permanently, when I was there 3 weeks ago.
This eccentric campsite built on the side of a steep hill provided washrooms for every pitch but everything was very old and in need of upgrade.
The road signs to the campsite are still there and therefore misleading.
The nearest open campsite is Camping Municipal Eure Et Seine, Pont de L'Arch just a couple of miles away and the other side of the rivers.
When approaching this campsite from the North your sat nav will tell you to take the next left as you are crossing the bridges. This is a dangerous junction with no road markings, I was hit by a motorbike as I waited here. Instead turn right; there are actually 3 right turns in this junction the first is "No Entry" the second is the one to take. When you come to an odd looking house turning right again will tell you down to the river and the campsite and Air de Camping.
If you fail to turn right at the odd looking house you will come to an Aldi. There is a bigger supermarket on the outskirts of Igoville at the roundabout just before you get to the bridges.
The original bridge at Pont de l'Arch was built by the French to stop the Normans at Rouen from getting up the River Seine and invading Paris. The Normans got past the bridge and captured Paris and built up the strength for the 1066 invasion of England.

------------- Enjoy the liveliness of the syntax.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

I love the 'odd looking house' - and had to have a look on Street View for it. Your description is perfect.
For anyone else staying in Pont de l'Arche, there is a great boulangerie/patisserie with some particularly delicious pastries and tarts.
After the accident with motorbike I was made to stay at the campsite for a week by the police, and experienced the delights of the nearby boulangerie/patisserie on a daily basis.
The pizza takeaway that I found claimed to be the best in town.
The mini supermarket is to the left as you reach the green grocers.
