Hi all

I am looking to book Dover to Calais for a summer crossing.
Has anyone used their Tesco vouchers for this trip?

If so do I go through Tesco or the P & O site.

I had quick look this morning and it's not too clear.(Probs just me, I know)

Any info would be greatly appreciated

You need to use the Tesco website to convert your clubcard points into P&O Vouchers and then you phone the P&O booking line to book your ferry. They will ask you for the codes from the vouchers when you book.

Tesco first, then phone P&O. It all seems very simple. Link

We use ours on the tunnel and Tesco have changed that, now there is no need to phone, it's all done online.

Rich, before you do anything phone P&O ferries and ask if you can use Clubcard vouchers to book when towing a caravan. In the past the answer from P&O ferries was No.   But Eurotunnel will say yes

Bookings must be made via phone in order to apply P&O Ferries codes. Bookings need to be made at least 7 days prior to travel. P&O Ferries codes can only be used against SAVER fares for singles and long stay (over 5 day) tickets. P&O Ferries codes cannot be used to purchase Club Lounge, Standard Flexi or Fully Flexi tickets or Priority Boarding. Excludes: Vans/Motorhomes if towing caravans or trailers, bicycles and foot passengers. Supplements chargeable for added extras and upgrades. Just to update on the ferry booking.
I had read the above and found it quite ambiguous.

So!
I had converted my vouchers before reading the small print.

I rang P&O and spoke to a very helpful lady.
I asked the question, and she wasn't entirely sure either. So she read the same t's and c's as posted online.
She then said Yes we do, it's vans with caravans we don't. She then took my booking and payment. and as we say in these parts, The job's a good un.

I have to admit though that I'm not convinced the booking should have been taken

I only booked one way as I am waiting for my vouchers in May before I book the return.
Perhaps it'll be a different story then.

Further to the above.

The more I read the t's and c's the clearer it becomes.

It says Vans or Motorhomes IF towing caravans or trailers.
