For eight years prior to the Covid pandemic we spent January & February at Bonterra Park ( now called Bonterra Resort) in Bencassim, Spain and had a great time there. The site was generally near full all the time and am Just wondering if any one there at present. If so has it been busy, and have they completed the access improvements they had planned.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
It is a nice site and we tried to book it once, but no luck. As we were staying at the Tropicana in Alcossebre up the road we paid it a visit, but it looked too cramped for us so never bothered booking there again. However it is in a very nice location.
Alcossebra is also one of our favourite sites. We’ve only actually stayed their once but have always thought it as a good option if we couldn’t get in to Bonterra Park. We usually pop in there once during our stay in Benicassim. Bonterra Park can feel a bit “tight” sometimes and you have to be prepared to change pitches if your first choice is cramped. Fortunately the pitches have good hedging between pitches. We did have a big scare one year when the barbecue caught alight but luckily the water hose was handy and was extinguished very quickly. We haven’t bothered to take it with us since!!!!
