Has any traveller this year experienced port checks for food imports/exports in their motor homes or caravans?
Not wishing to break the well-advertised (if not precise) rules, but a lot of us are wondering what to expect when arriving/leaving the ports in France and Spain, now that we are not in the EU.
Recent experiences would be welcome.

I have been monitoring a number of forums and Facebook pages in recent months and whilst it is often a point of discussion I have found no incidence of someone being searched. Obviously with the likes of COVID border authorites have had their minds on other things. However the point is that rules are rules and there is enough information out there to advise on what is legal and what is not. It would be easy enough to buy food at a supermarket en route?
Last year went out in august thru Santander….. no interest in food, covid status, just stamped passports and on our way. It is a total non story, they’re just not interested. Worst case scenario the food MIGHT be seized.
we went from portsmouth to Santander 1st dec 2021 came back 20th jan 2022 on the way over just normal checks not very thorough, arrival at Santander some vehicles and campers were pulled over to a check area not sure how thorough those checks were as we were not checked.
Although this was a minority of the vehicles being checked I don't think knowing the Spanish very well I would want to risk being one of those minority with something on board I shouldn't have.

Right at the end of the long document in Annex III it shows a list of exemptions re- biscuits, cakes, chocolate and more. It may be helpful to those of us who like to take our home-bakes away as well as feast on some European delights.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
