I reckon you can do your April May and August (90 days c.3 months) within the April to September (six months) window, then back out Oct.
Or don�t go in April May, but go Aug Sept Oct (as you planned) which would use your 90 days in 180.
I am always amazed at how wrong people can be over the 90 day rule, just this morning a neighbour was telling me how it had changed their plans for long trips to Spain as "Macron won`t let us go for more than 30 days at a time".
