I'm looking at whether it would be worth us joining the Brittany Ferries Club Voyage next year, but can find very little helpful information about it on the BF website and no indication of how much it costs to join.
Before I sit on the phone for hours (as I have phoned at a very busy time) can anyone give me this information? Thank you.

I doubt anyone can. I recieved an email from them last week saying that new members will receive a different set of offers from existing ones. I think that the discount you get will be variable depending on the time of year that you sail. As far as I could see the meal allowance is going up to £10/head to be spent anywhere on board. Don't know if the cheap/free cabin offers are changing.
Cost for the French one used to be £150 for the first year and £75 in subsequent years.
This ferry company is in financial difficulties because of a combination of Covid and Brexit - and discounts via the Club Voyage scheme and via Clubs and agencies are likely to be less generous in future. Even though the French government has just granted €45million of aid to the company.discounted fares are likely to be scarce. I don’t think newcomers should join Club Voyage until they see the new terms and conditions.

Have look here. Can't see the price to join but it does give the benefits. Last year I paid £75, but the initial cost in year one was double that (as per Sean above). They have recently changed the 'breakfast benefit' to a a slightly higher amount.........
from the email...In the coming weeks, any new members joining Club Voyage will receive different benefits with ferry discounts varying depending on the season of travel. As a token of our appreciation to our loyal existing members, you will continue to receive your year-round 30% discount as long as you continue to renew your membership. From 16 November, we’re increasing your usual £8.50 breakfast allowance to a £10 food and drink voucher that can be used in any onboard catering point of your choice and at any time! Plus, you’ll also receive NEW onboard benefits including discount in the cinema and spa as long as you renew your membership.
Thanks Grahame. Not sure about the "ferry discounts varying depending on the season of travel" - all seems a bit vague at the moment so I think I'll wait for greater detail.
We have found that the Club Voyage scheme is best if you travel in peak season, however we found that if, like us, you travel in June and July, before the schools break up, you can actually get a better ferry deal through the caravan club.
I kept a note of these figures from a few years ago when we were looking for a crossing going out mid June and back mid July. These quotes were for exactly the same dates and time.
Direct through Brittany Ferries website was £555
30% off if we were Club Voyage members would make that £388.50 plus the annual membership fee of £75 makes a total of £463.50
Price for crossing only booked through Caravan Club £440 plus £54 membership fee makes a total of £494
Price for package deal with Caravan Club including the crossing and site night vouchers to cover the cost of our first 4 nights in France £252.80 plus £54 membership fee makes a total of £306.80
As we were already CMC members it was a great deal for us and we used the 4 site night vouchers for our first 2 and last 2 nights in France close to the port.
Who knows what the future holds in terms of what deals will be available but definitely shop around before committing to Club Voyage.

We find the Caravan Club really good for price if you take a caravan, but we will be travelling with just a car to the 'van we keep in France, so the savings are minimal. Thought that Club Voyage might be a way to save some money on 2, possibly 3 crossings a year.

Thank you allanguest - it would be the France membership we would be looking at.
We have considered CV in the past but the costs did not add up for our one return trip, car & van.
The caravan club gave a consistent £300 ish saving over BF, so the saving with CV was nowhere near that-as well as the £75 annual charge there is also a joining fee of £75.
However, that has all changed and my quotes for 2022 are around £300 more than we paid previously so CV might be worth looking at again-and definitely if looking at more than one trip.
Another possible option is using someone else's CV membership to get, I think, 10% off and they also get a benefit.

Booking via the caravan club has saved us app £300 per trip but now BF is no longer giving the same level of discount the saving, on a 2022 trip, is just £54.
Joining CV would give a saving of £46, on the club price, after paying the £75 fee so in year 1, with the £75 joining fee, you are out of pocket.
Whilst likely we would continue to use BF joining CV does tie you to them somewhat.
