"From Saturday the 4th of December fully vaccinated passengers over 12 years of age require a negative result from a non-NHS PCR test or a non-NHS Antigen (lateral flow) test taken no more than 48 hours before travel"
It's never ending

Glad we made our trip to England to see family and friends last week rather than waiting for Christmas. Our GP kindly gave us our booster jab a few weeks early so it seemed to be the sensible time to visit - although the drive back was a bit of a so and so - last Sunday snowed most of the way from Sheffield to Portsmouth and Monday sun was in my eyes most of the way south from Caen to the Dordogne.

You have to buy them! I guess govt don't want travellers using free ones!
Boxes of LFTs are free in Scotland. We’ve been advised today to test before every time we go out, up on the twice weekly that was expected.
PCR tests not free & what irritates me is how widely the price varies.
Boxes of LFT's free in England too, but not for official travel purposes. We took 2 with us to France to test ourselves before we took the official paid for tests. Not sure what we'd have done if they'd been positive.....
OH took several tests the other week as he had a cough and cold, but was always negative. I've not had any sort of symptoms so haven't tested.

We did too, and also tested before 'official tests' including the Day 2 after returning to the UK. Almost immediately following that we were both unwell and convinced we had Covid so we did daily tests, and had an NHS PCR but all were negative. It's taken us a long time to recover from whatever it wasn't!!!

So does this mean I can't use them for France?
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
