Not a question I was expecting to ask but can anyone recommend family oriented sites in northern Brittany or Normandy? Have to find the delicate balance of somewhere that's not too hot in early July for husband with health problems yet not too wet and windy for grandkids who live in Dubai
Grandkids are 'tweens' (8-11) who are quite sporty. They need chalet/static for two adults and three kids, we need motorhome pitch. Would also like coastal walks so I can escape for my sanity.
We really liked the area around Benodet and east to the Gulf of Morbihan and would try it again if we thought it wasn't going to be too hot, so suggestions in that area also welcome! Is Du Letty suitable for kids of this age?

Camping de Mesqueau might suit.

Ironned, some families with young children in the 8 to 11 age range would certainly like Camping du Letty and others would love la Ferme de Croas Men. Some might dislike them both, even though they are chalk and cheese. It’s hard to advise without knowing the particular children or their parents.

my familly love Yelloh! les mouettes

https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=7023

its a really well equipped site with both indoor and outdoor activities beacuse the weather there isnt always fantastic. they even have a cinema.

the weather is more like cornwall although we have been very lucky when we have stayed there.

for better weather its probably wiser to head to the vendee. we go to sites in the vendee more often.

generally Yelloh! sites are very well equipped althoug camping sandaya are also very good.

nobody does camping like the french do.
