Hi looking for advice for our first time abroad with the caravan
had some advice on a different thread.but thought I should start my own.
we havebooked a few sites, but he rest off the days are Free.
Thanks to Captain Lightening re suggestions of rail ticket purchase
.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
What you will notice is how much easier it is to stop for a break, driving with a caravan behind! Loads more layby's and services than you see on UK routes, often easy to negotiate too.
Just to note though, if you are coming back to Calais from Belgium side all the Aires are closed on that side of the motorway.
Thanks Clarybel
for the info.
we are traveling to and from the hook of Holland. good to hear that there are more caravan friendly place to stop.
We need to change campsites because of lack of availability for the dates we want .
The problem is we have to leave one site by 11am, and the next site says arrivals at 3pm. the time to travel between the sites should only be an hour.
what do others do when in this situation.( German sites)
regards
