Hi, Does anyone know how much in general the Catalonia tourist tax is for campsites ? We've happily paid the small French charge for decades but I will not pay ridiculous amounts per person per night, eg Greece. So I was wondering how much in practice the Catalonia charge works out at per night, there seem to be no hard facts on the web, it's all "from" and "to". I see the maximum charge is going to double this year, so if it's another region that no longer wants me to visit then I will oblige.

Depends where you stay, it seems: TimeOut article published today says -
“Visitors will be charged between €1.20 and €6 per day across Catalonia, depending on their accommodation. In Barcelona, the tax will begin at €2 per day for those visiting campsites, but will be €7 for guests staying at five-star hotels.“
