We are looking for a campsite for 2 nights close to Rennes in France that has a pool for our 5 year old. I’ve have looked on the campsite search and the only one on there doesn’t have a pool.

I collected my car from the garage Green Flag has sent it for repairs and headed North, looking for campsite signs. There weren't any, I drove through yet another ville and saw a camping sign, I recognised the name of the campsite I'd seen it online, this was a place I'd sworn never to go to.
Do you remember the Wombles chef Madam Cholet? This is the town of Cholet which the Womble is named after, well Camping Lac de Ribou is here, with it's many swimming pools, water slides and the haunted village children's climbing frame while all I wanted was a cheap camping municiple to spend the night. https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=18323
That evening after putting the tent up I swam and water slided and had hot pizza from the on site pizza shop. With a full stomache my opinion of the site mellowed and I wanted to bring some young nephews and nieces here to watch them enjoy it.
If it's too far to drive in one day stop at Camping Municipal de Guerame, 65 rue de Guerame, 61000, Alencon France.
The municipal at Rennes doesn’t have its own pool, but the public pool is literally next door, and walkable via a footpath along the drive. The site itself is in a huge park ideal for walking and cycling with a lake at its heart and nice lakeside cafe bar. There are good play areas both on the campsite itself and by the lake, so I would think it’s a good place to stay with a small child. There’s also a bus stop at the end of the drive which goes into the city centre. We enjoyed our two nights there in June.
Campingl’Hermitage at Guemene Penfao also has a very pleasant pool. It’s about 30 miles south of Rennes.
Also Le Domaine du Logis - about 20 miles north of Rennes.
