I'm a little less stressed about it today, LOL. The kids looked similar enough to me - still the same hairstyles etc - the guy at the Post Office thought so too - so all being well we shall have them back shortly!

When I renewed my daughters it was based on a picture of her at 3 months - all I had to do was get the back signed to say it was a likeness.
When we came through Calais last year at 10.30pm they not only checked the passports they insisted that we wake the kids so they could look at their faces... arghhh - 2 VERY grumpy children!!
Oh gosh I am SO relieved! I can't imagine if we had turned up at the port with them out of date - after all this waiting we would have been totally gutted. Never mind, all's well now

At least you found out first - thank goodness you decided to get a Camping Card. I think I'm going to get one, too, as we had to leave a passport in reception at one site recently, and that seems more than I want to risk at the moment.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
