id recommend looking of ebuyer for a satnav.  i have just ordered mine off there, it was £50, but better than icluding all GB and european maps it also acts as a MP3 or MP4 player, plays movies and has an expanable memory for photo viewing etc.  I thought this was a great buy, it hasnt arrived yet so cant tell you how it works but looks great and the reviews are impressivE!

We just brought a Garmin nuvi 250, from Halfords cost £115, Chap in there said they were a good buy as if they go wrong in the first year, they just give you a brand new one, where as the Tom Tom (which we had gone in to buy) gets sent off for a repair

We have never used one before or been to France before, but we just plugged it in and off we went, got us there no probs and not even a cross word between me and OH, which is a first!!!!

Wsh me uck - just going to try to dwnload now - got a card reader from the quid shop!
