i've just priced up 18nights going 19th aug. norfolkline ferry crossings included & 18 camping cheques & it's come in at £361 ! £20 cheaper than 2 weeks in may with siblu. i know i will have to pay some supplements for the extra kids but am seriously considering cancelling siblu holiday. will i find many hidden costs with camping cheques?

You have to pay an 'admin' charge if you buy just the Camping Cheques from Mark Hammerton travel (the Camping Cheque website) - I think it's about £5 - and you may have to pay a booking fee to Dragonniere - you'll need to check that with them first - and I'd get proper costings from them for next year if I were you.  There aren't any other supplements payable at present - but the 'credit crunch' and the values of currencies may well affect the price of Camping Cheques which may rise as a result.  Presumably you'll also have to pay a cancellation fee to Siblu - and your Speedferries crossing (which may be honoured by Norfolk Line, or at least give you a discount.

I didn't realise you were thinking of next year - why not 'save' Dragonniere for the following year - and have something to look forward to once you've had next year's holiday?
