I wonder if this is an area of Britany you have previously visited ? Just that there are of course  places in the UK which charge an awful lot more for the same/similar goods as can be found other towns/counties & I am just wondering if people are taking that into account ?

In the part of Scotland I live in we pay an awful lot more for a lot of things (especially petrol & diesel) particularly as you travel further North, &  especially in rural areas. I am following this thread with interest as we are taking our caravan touring in France  as soon as (complex) circumstances allow.

we decided to take a lot of food with us and we were not checked ( dont think they do check as we all drove striaght on the carriages ) they did not even check our passports !

thought the whole holiday was great and will defo try france again
