Hi All

This has probably been discussed before..... info on best sat navs please....

We are taking caravan to France next year and possibly Germany in the future, we have been looking at the Snoopers which you can put the van dimension's into....Are they worth the money? Which do you use? which are the best?

Thanks

We have got a Snooper S2000N which we used in France this year. Never took us down a road that we couldn't take a caravan. Excellent quality product. Our old Navigon was hopeless. Would certainly recommend it. Doesn't show the speed limits though so i bought a Snooper MySpeed on which registered for the cameras.

My Bold - I'm not quite sure what that means. Does it mean a) that it has a data base with the cameras on it or b) that it detects cameras?

If it is b) and detects cameras you were very lucky using that in France. The fines are crippling and can even result in a custodial sentence, confiscation of vehicle etc

I've Googled the advertising blurb for the above.  It detects speed camera's.  As happy bonzo says the fines are crippling even if you keep it in the boot and are not using it so its best not to take that one abroad.

Regards Bob
