We have been twice, kids are a range of ages. It's a good day out even when the weather is rubbish!!

We Stayed at Domaine Des Forges, Avrille, and drove to Puy de Fou. Its about an hour and half away. This was our second visit and we realy enjoyed it. We took our grandson aged 20 months who also had a lot of pleasure. The tickets are cheaper if you buy them from the campsite and are not day specific, ie you can go on any day.

First went in 2000 when our 2 were 4 and 6. Not a word of French between us and it hurled it down in summer storms - but we all loved it. I've lost count now of how many times we've been - 5 or 6 it must be, and we've done the cinescenie twice. I'd go again without any hesitation! Last time we stayed at the campsite at les Bruges 5 minutes away and it was amazing - the microlight flew over the camp-site several times a day and it was lovely to see him and his trail of geese.

Can anyone tell me if you can go back to the car, during the day to get your food so that you do not have to carry it all day.

we're planning a visit for the first time this August. Will wait and buy tickets from campsite if cheaper.

Fill the coolbox for your lunch. It was quite expensive the food when we were there. The other thing is there is a big rush for all the food stalls around lunchtime, we ended up waiting a fair while for food. . I think next time we would take picnic stuff. Not for the price, but it would be a bit more relaxed.

However it is really a fantastic day out
