We are doing the Abbeville, Rouen, Chartres Route - in just 22 days (not that I'm counting). I feel sure we must have been on this route when we used to bomb down form Calais to Il De Re or Lacanau. Seeing Chartres on the Tour De France coverage assured me that this is destination is a must. Depending on whether we find teh right campsite I'd like to go to the early mass on the 19th August ,as this will be a Gregorian mass (not to be missed). Otherwise it'll be a church local to Toulx Ste Croix....Creuse and tyhe Auverge wil be new territory so fingers crossed.
