Zeolli - like others on here, we never book in May.  We've been intending to visit the Pyrenees in May for many years, but the weather has usually been disappointing so we've not got there in the past..  We eventually did manage it in September this year, and had great weather for week - but I really wouldn't book in advance as if the weather is bad then it can be really bad and you'll see nothing.  Have alternative sites in the south - even a few miles can make a huge difference - and go to the Pyrenees if the local weather forecast is good.

Wimp! we were there this May with 4 cms of snow on the pitch, in our trailer tent.

Had a great time once the frostbite wore off.

I am a wimp, SGT!  I prefer the sun - and we got that in September, so all was well in the end!

We did still see snow on the high Pyrenees, though, which was unusual!  And we saw the devastating results of the June floods around Lourdes which had left many of the valleys full of tree trunks, mobile homes, and the remains of houses.  They were still clearing the debris in convoys of trucks, and some of the roads were closed for large parts of the day.

I can't recommend Natura enough. We went in August this year and it was stunning. We have a 7m caravan and towing via the coach route through Bun was not a problem - just avoid market day which was a Monday if I remember rightly.
