Les Embruns in Le Pouldu is nice. The village beach is one of my favourites. I'm surprised nobody has suggested Du Letty. Direct beach access and a really nice corner of Brittany.

no we have booked for Les Embruns in Finnistre Brittany, the idea of going to Barcelona was my husbands as he has driven down there in his HGV wagon so must think its dooable! So have you been to the Brittany site ? If so, what is your opinion ?
Les Embruns at Le Pouldu is one of the best kept and prettiest sites we have stayed on. I cannot answer your questions about fully serviced pitches as we didn't have one but when in France we always have our aquaroll and a smaller waste container. The water is fine to drink but I always keep drinking water in a small separate container. If the water is not to your taste I buy the big cheap 4or5 litre bottles for tea, coffee, drinking etc.
We certainly would not consider driving to Barcelona from here.670 miles one way!!

Greetings Alfonso,
Gwenaelle is indeed lovely (This was commented upon by Mrs Emmit who said that after every visit I made to the Reception, I had a certain 'look' in my eye.
She was very patient with me scraping the rust off my french.
In return, I taught her the phrase, "Chocolate Tea pot"
Give her my best wishes.

emmitdb - I've checked the site out on Camping street view, link, hopefully it'll be as nice as it looks in the video! I'll pass on your best wishes!
We have a grand confort pitch booked... (with a water point, drainage and a 16 amp electricty hook up)... Hopefully the tap on the pitch will have a screwy type connection so we can connect our Aquaroll mains adapter and spend a fortnight "plumbed in". If anyone can confirm that is the case that would be brill. Also, do I need to reverse polarity or will I just be able to connect my usual EHU lead into the site hookups?
I can confirm that you will be fully plumbed in with the taps. They have the required screwed thread on the taps.
The EHU's are the Blue, Euro type, to date jobbies but I would still take a tester and 'Reversed' add on because the french have a totally different system of wiring and, unless they specifically check it out at installation, it doesn't matter to them which way around the wires go. It only matters to us from the UK.
