Sorry to hear that the weather has been poor - but it seems to be the same throughout France, according to our friends who are there at the moment.

Essexmum, we are travelling down to the tunnel on the Thursday night. Our crossing is in the early hours of Friday morning (OH idea), we then plan to stop and have a couple of hours kip before heading down to Dijon. Not sure which campsite we are stopping on yet but I have a list of possible ones. Then like yourself travelling the rest of the way on Saturday.

We are a family of 4, I have a 17 yr old boy (tall with short brown hair) and a 14 yr old girl (long blond hair). So if you see a VW campervan with 2 bikes on the back, that's us.

Sarah

We're getting a very early train (5.15) on friday 15th too. Aiming to leaving home (midlands) about 11pm and driving to tunnel. Suppose to take about 4hrs towing so leaving at 11ish gives us some wiggle time.

Might see you at folkestone!

Keep an eye out for us, in a blacky-purple Qashqai with topbox :-)
