Ok we wouldn't leave it unattended as it's our worse nitemare getting it stolen whilst on our way to our main holiday! I know it's a bit paranoid! Could we not park it on the retail park area and call for takeaway?

didn't think you would want a takeaway whilst In transit but if you stop at the tescos one cant think of number of junction at moment ..Cant one of you go and get grub the other sit in car ...simples..............
The Pompey Centre next to the football club has a large amount of parking in the B&Q car park. There is also a KFC and and McDonald's of which you can sit in or outside and view your Caravan. From the A27 use the A2030 to get there and personally I would then go back that way to the A27 before using the M275 to the ferry port roughly a 10 min drive.
Also just of the A2030 is the pub called the farm house which has a large Car park shared with the golf course there are some limited tables outside but you will feel more like your sitting in a car park then a pub.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
