My former OH lived in Zeeland in a tiny place called Oosteeklo, he was pro cyclist at the time and was there for the track in Ghent... anyway it's a lovely area but well worth going for Mussel Fest and Het Volk (The peoples 'cycle' race.
On The way back from our trip last year we stayed on a very basic site in Arnhem, it was called Warnsborn. Its a good place to stay for travelling back via Rotterdam.
