What's all this "French A levels" this, and "Latin Studies" that!
We had to make do with failing woodwork and geography, and being told to stand outside the door, for RE!
I sometimes think I'm the only one on here with an inner city comp "education"... not that any of you would have noticed, if I hadn't have mentioned it!
Oh... And I've just googled the bint from Nantes... I've never read such filth!!
Once ordered a large (1 litre) of German Lager (weib pronounced vice) and was promptly served two large lagers so I felt obliged to sit there and drink two litres of beer. Hardships ........

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
They really should teach you stuff you might actually need to know in school French. I too did A level French in 1990 but a few years ago in France our car starting making weird noises and I had to try to communicate with a small local mechanic who didn’t speak any English as we were in a little village in the middle of nowhere. I definitely didn’t have the vocabulary for that! Then, a few years later my husband’s crown fell off (his tooth, we’re not posh enough to have the head sort) and I really struggled explaining things to the local dentist. She let me struggle on for about 5 minutes before telling me in beautiful English that she had lived in Edinburgh for 3 years! Still, school French did not prepare me for most of the difficulties I have experienced in France.

I know a limerick where the punch line involves a young woman from Nantes and la plume de ma tante.
However it is far too filthy for a board such as this.
If only we could figure out the petite bit? I’m thinking the ink-well?
