The New Zealand rugby team do a couple of Haka,s Fiona, “Ka Mate” and the more recent “Kapa o pango” You never know which one you are going to get! The Māori All Blacks, I believe, do a Haka called “Timatanga”

During my playing days I got rather drunk with the Captain of the Māori All Blacks! Not big or clever………But great fun. 👍

Hadn’t heard the more recent NZ rugby haka, so thanks for that! Not been out to NZ since 2019, for obvious reasons.
Wonder which one they’ll do at Murrayfield?

I managed to get all of Englands games except Japan, it was not easy four laptops on different IP addresses. I ended up with many tickets I don’t need for the other home nations.

Have you got Scotland v South Africa tickets at Marseille by any chance? I logged in to the latest sale a couple of weeks ago and the only ones available were €750 each. That’s from the official site not from a tout!!

I could’ve got England v Japan too but they were minimum €450 each as well.

So much for the normal rugby fan

Looking for sites near St Etienne for one of the games - can't see anything that close to the city. Anyone know St Etienne and aware if any handy motorhome sites?

Managed to get 2 tickets for the Scotland v Romania match in Lille - 30th anniversary present to ourselves. Can't wait, Scotland are playing so well in the 6 nations at the moment. I got the tickets via the French rugby website. Very reasonably priced too!

I looked online yesterday, the pricing is scandalous. On the official World Cup ticketing site the message comes up that there are no tickets available, and gives a link to a reseller where, miraculously, a 45euro ticket for Lille becomes £175. I know that resellers make huge profits but I can`t believe that the World Cup organisers would direct you to these people.

Buying the tickets even through a third party is the cheapest part of the weekend, the channel crossings and accommodation are extortionate. If you can find any.

As of this moment there are 473 tickets starting at €48 each available for Scotland v Tonga and 95 for England v Japan if that floats your boat, very reasonable starting at €210 each!! Makes a complete nonsense of how difficult they were to get when they first went on sale. We even got parking right next to the ground for our 2 matches in Nice.

Setting off a fortnight today. Can’t wait

Ken

The words England and rugby are not really compatible at present. 🤷

Very true and I think South Africa is going to cream England. I thin k that the new coach needs to be replaced. See https://www.rugbypass.com/rugby-world-cup/fixtures-results/

It wouldn’t surprise me if England don’t get any further than the group, they are simply appalling. On current form RSA would put 60 points on England, without breaking into a sweat.

I hope I am wrong, but sadly………I don’t think I am.
