Perhaps something else that may be worth consideration...

If you do run out/forget to take with you, and you don't have the packet, or know the name of your meds, I guess many of us have the NHS App nowadays, which of course lists the repeat prescriptions on there (To show the local pharmacist).

Interesting, but no such app is available in NHS Scotland (as far as I know, having had to drill down through the system to try & get my pneumonia vaccination. Eventually complained & got it 5 years late.)

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

My husband has run out of amlodipine; we are visiting family in Devon. Neither pharmacy in Kingsbridge would accept the info on the NHS app this am; have to ring the GP back in Manchester for an electronic prescription to be sent🤷🏻‍♀️. From the original post, I cannot imagine a French person visiting the UK being able to walk into a pharmacy & being able to access their medications!

Precisely my point in the original post Fiona. From other posts it seems to be a common thing in France but I pity a foreign tourist in UK. Computer says no and no common sense.
