I just remembered! My son had an Asda t-shirt nicked when he left it by a site swimming pool 2 years ago. But that's par for the course for him!

Having looked at kids clothes in French supermarkets I can quite understand how it got nicked. It'd be worth someone's while to load up a van with Asda t-shirts and sell them on French markets. You don't seem to get anywhere near the price/quality over there.

We had no problems in France last year, in fact the site felt more secure than some of the UK sites we have been on, as to get on the site you had to drive through a barrier which was operated by a swipe card.

I think it is the same for camping anywhere you keep your valuables, wallets, purses etc locked in the car.
