We were in Doussard and heard them. Did the boat tour when the singers were warming up during afternoon, lovely setting for the concerts. Also splashed out on a drink in the river front hotel just to the right of the Talloires jetty.
Stunning area

It's a slick operation. Valet parking, superb service and presntation, and excellent food. Helen and Rachel shared the seafood platter and said it was the best starter they'd had anywhere. My main plat of chicken was superb. Wasn't cheap, 3 courses each, cocktails and a nice bordeaux, about 180 euros service compris. We tend to push it a bit for the last-night-of-the-holiday meal. We got dressed up, but there were lots there in shorts and flipflops.
The owners of our apartment had recommended it, and said booking was essential for dinner, so we thought we'd done well getting in. There's all sorts of reviews and I think it can be down to the day. We found it got a bit frantic later in the evening and in high season, they're clearly well drilled to get tables ready afresh. We weren't rushed, but the car was ready waiting for us as we walked out, suggesting liaison between them all.
Very memorable, and I'd recommend it, and suggest booking, especially for a Friday night in high season.
Worth a go if you're back there.

Mucker, totally Croc-less since packing in the camping lark It was upscale but no dress code, far as I could see. And the valet parking is really because they've only got limited space for cars. Bikes you'd be fine with. Seriously.
I know you'd asked about sites. We passed loads. Sunshinetours could doubtless help, and BobCat10 (Cat) is a mine of info on Annecy sites.
Where we stayed was right by the "piste cyclable" a totally separate two lane cycle path. Don't know if it goes right round, but we saw it, and variations, on the other side of the lake. Or for real hardcore, we saw cyclists going up into the mountains. We had a run one day (in the car, I hasten to add) up to col de la Forclaz to see the hang and para gliders take off. Stunning views there.
