To try to summarise ...
Camping Card ACSI 2018 has the discount card, comes in 2 volumes and contains details of ONLY the 2940 sites in all the European countries where discount is given (there are apparently 3300 sites but details of late additions only on the website/app?).
ACSI 2018 Campsite Guide has the discount card, is just one volume and contains details of over 2300 ACSI inspected campsites in 5 countries only, SOME of which give discount with the ACSI card.
ACSI Campinggids Europa 2018 + App has the discount card, comes in 2 volumes and contains details of the 8200 ACSI inspected campsites in 29 European countries, SOME of which give discount with the ACSI card. You also get the App with this BUT it is available only in Dutch.
...I think!
Thanks bofs, that helps.. I think lol...
we have the complete book from 2011, that's in Dutch or German. We where still using it last year just thought it was time for an update as we have a campervan now & getting about a lot more.
------------- Doogle comes too.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
I have the complete ACSI Camping Guide Europe for 2006/2007 which I think was the last time it was published in English. I'm sure I had had one for 2004 too. I imagine that they didn't sell enough copies to make the English version worthwhile. It had "more than 4100 camp sited in 25 European countries" - less than half it has today!
I think it's a pity they have discontinued the DVD as that could be installed on a laptop and is really useful. I bought one every couple of years and still use the 2016 one. The Camping Card books I get every year, wouldn't be without them.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
