Finish work tonight, Friday, at 22:00.
50 mins drive home, a cuppa, then I start packing the car.
Up early tomorrow morning, run some errands, tidy up the house, roof box on the car, a cuppa waiting for the wife to get back from her morning job and we hope to be on the road by 13:30.
ETA on site, near Salò - Lake Garda, 15:00 --- very handy living in northern Italy ... sometimes.

Am excited to be trying out our new ESVO cotton pyramid, we've been having 35°C+ temps this week. Safety warnings issued for the young and elderly ... it's bl%%dy hot!!

9 weeks tomorrow then off to the Ardeche, A couple of day or weekend trips before then though. Thats one of the good things about living 20 mins from the tunnel.

Its a really nice site with plenty to do locally. Visit the Bayeux tapestry early. It opens at 10am and by lunchtime the queues are out the door and through the courtyard.

We are off on the 8th of August 8.00am ferry Plymouth to Roscoff, night in a hotel just off the ring road in Nantes and then next morning drive down to La Rive Biscarosse for 3 weeks of sailing and surfing. 1st week on our own and then friends joining us for last 2 weeks.Can't wait, daughter is there this week with the school staying with Rockley water sports(not that jealous!) am really looking forward to it hope the weather is reliable,as am looking forward to a few evenings under the stars with a glass or 2 of the local vino.
