Its interesting to note that the pound took a bit of a hit a month or so ago but recently has recovered a bit. On average we are getting about 1.26 euros to the pound depending on what card is used. We could get a knee jerk reaction if things seem to be going against the hopes of the financial institutions or the opposite as the case may be. Makes life a bit more exciting!!!

The value of the pound will not affect whether I travel to Europe or not. I still think that overall a camping holiday in Europe is cheaper than here in the UK, particularly as I live in Kent and can use a Frequent Traveller scheme.
Apart from the financial aspect, I have always considered myself to be European anyway and much prefer to be there for my holidays for many reasons.
