Diesel at our local Carrefour "down" to 2 euro a litre - was up to 2.16 last week.

l’Eclerc were discounting fuel this weekend via your till receipt.

It sounded a good deal until you have to spend over 100€ in the shop.

Gpl has come down to about 90cents depending when the tank was filled.

Just arrived back from France and fuel prices dropped 25/30 cents a litre on Saturday. The odd garage were still charging the old higher price but most were down to around 1.75 a litre.

Our neighbour reports diesel at 1.79 at our local fuel station, and wine at 1.90/litre at our friendly neighbourhood wine seller (the mother of a vineyard owner who makes and sells his own wine) who sells it by the box!
