I have not been recently, so I wont judge or compare it with anything else. I did travel by train many years ago from Calais to Switzerland but it was a night service so didnt see much. I did work once for a French company and found some off the people quite rude so perhaps that what has swung my opinion now.

Not only is France wonderful, but it's also incredibly varied.
