Hi all,
We are off to Saumur & staying at L'Etang de la Brèche this summer.
I would be interested in hiring / renting Kayaks or canoes to take a trip along the Loire. Does anyone know where we can hire kayaks, and good places to go in the Saumur region along the Loire?

Hi! Have a look at THIS for starters. At L'Etang, they run trips to a local canoe/kayak centre where you can hire by the day. Head east from L'Etang (if not on a supervised trip) towards Chinon, and Candes St. Martin. It's a really pretty ride, plus you'll meet the confluence of the Loire et Vienne rivers. Enjoy!
