Could someone tell me if there is a site/book which shows all the French camp sites which are open all year  or at least from the beginning of March.

I find the Caravan Club European Guide (the bible) to be as good as it gets

I would agree that the Caravan Club Guide is a good starting point but its always wise to contact the campsite just to confirm they are open. Sometimes reports are a year or two old and things do change.

It's also worth checking out the Camping Cheques WebSite http://www.campingcheque.co.uk/en/ and the ACSI Site http://www.eurocampings.co.uk/en/europe/  . Both of these have a good directory allowing you to search by area, although I don't think they allow search by  opening dates. Also if you're travelling out of season the prices are extremely competetive.
