we are of to Ireland for the first time in june for nearly 6 weeks hoping its as good as every one says.

we will be in the tipperary area next month. can you tell me want fitting we need for the gas bottles, have been told not the same as in england.

if things are still the same, you can't get replacement calor gas bottles in the Republic of Ireland but you can in the north, so make sure you have enough. Glad to hear you are going by the way.

we are on the apple farm camp site. Oh  thinks that we will need 3 bottles of gas. our son still wants us to go he said it was unfair to upset our plans because of whats happened to him. I do not like the idea of going but i think he will be OK.

 Travelling-man lovely part of the country Tipperary stayed there in 2004 2005   2006 twice at the Apple Farm and last year at Glen of Aherlow, this year we are at Donoghues White Villa Farm Killarney for a week then back into Tipperary Streamstown Roscrea for a week, plus 2 nights at Camac Valley Dublin, June the 5th Ireland here we come.

is the apple farm a good site.we are booked on from the 18thjune for 2weeks

 Hi judas_hill the Apple Farm is ok, all the facilities showers,toilets washing up are in a big converted barn and are very clean, they are also into recycling bottles cans and such, it,s run by Dutch people, i think they came over to Ireland in about 1962, you should get a free bottle of Apple juice when you book in, there should be fresh Strawberrys and Rasberrys when you there, hope you have a good time there the countryside is lovely round there, for shopping go to Clonmel, there,s a big new Super Value supermarket on a new estate as you go into the town.

thanks for that information corrakid we are looking forward to the trip it will be the first time in Ireland. we are also going to try and do some family history.

Hi corrakid, looks like you know your way around Tipp, lol. We should be around in June so why not pop in when in the area?  BTW, love camping in Killarney, those lakes are to die for!
