I have used my Sky in Alsace and Dordogne, plus further North - no problems. The angle of elevation/direction can vary. However a few minutes 'playing' with angles produced excellent pictures. My dish is an old home small dish that we replaced - I mount it on an old Camera Tripod. A small compass is a must to help with satellite location and to ensure a clear sight of satellite - avoiding trees/buildings etc BEFORE you pitch.
