Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience of campsites that allow fires in western france as most campsites seem to forbid fires, which i understand for safety reasons. However you cant beat a good campfire!

The only campfires I have seen were on the pebble part of the beach near Soleil Plage or on the island. If you are an enthusiastic fire maker I hope you take the trouble to remove your rubbish - As a member of this excellent forum I'm sure you do but some slobs forget that other may find the remains of their fires a less than welcome addition to the environment.
