Just trying to plan a couple of months in southern Spain, in January and February.We would like to go on a Camping and Caravan club rally for a few weeks,and spend the rest of the time touring using Camping Cheques.It will be our first winter away, and we would pleased with any info

Don't forget to get an ACSI card too, have a look at their website on www.campingcard.com for details of their very similar scheme, fixed price low season sites and you don't have to buy cheques in advance, just turn up and pay for the pitch at a discounted rate.

There are some very good sites in Spain accepting Camping Cheques. Depending on which rally you're going on, you might well find that using the Camping Cheques and booking your ferry independently is a cheaper option.

I agree with minicamper that the ACSI Card is well worth having as well as an alternative.

Bear in mind that January/February are very busy months over here and many of the better sites get booked well in advance.
