We are going to le Croix du Vieux Pont in Picardie and wondered if we need an adaptor for electric hook up (yes we need it in a tent to keep the drinks cold!)
I've seen some other places that you need an adaptor, but thought I'd seen something in here about it being the same as in this country, but can't find it.
Sorry to waffle!

Even if the site have the European Standard CEE17 plugs, like we do in the UK there is always the risk of reverse polarity. If you do a search for 'EHU' in this section you will come up with lots of threads on the subject. It might be an idea to e-mail the site and ask what sort of sockets they have, I am sure they will be used to this question.
Does anyone know if there's a water tap on each pitch at this site? We're booked to go at the end of April, and will only pack a mains water system if we will have our own tap.
Cheers

We had one on our pitch, but can't be sure about round the lake, although there were a lot of caravans there so probably. If you're not sure, give them a ring, they speak perfect english, to the point of answering in English even when you talk to them in fluent french!
