Hi sail to france in one weeks time. T his is our first camping trip in france, we are going to a campsite called camping saint pal in the gorge du tarn, really looking forword to it. With one week to go and trying to pull everything together any tips heres what i doing so far ,have a company car so sorting all documents out for that etc got breakdown cover and travel insurance, checked passports photocopied everything and got two files, started sorting out clothes(any advice on what would be needed) camping eqipment bing sorted over the weekend only used everything a couple of weeks ago so know everthing is fine.so what have i forgot? any ideas welcomed trying not to get stressed on school hols at moment so just mulling about and trying to sort thing   thanks      amanda

You've probably thought of them already but insect repellent & waterproofs would be high on my list. Oh, and T bags (you can buy them here but they are not as strong as in the UK so your cuppa really won't be as good!)

Also, adapter plugs, deflectors for your car headlights.

More importantly, have a great time. Welcome to the world of French camping!

have thought about the above not sure i want to use the waterproofs though   lol thanks

Gorge to Tarn = Superb

Snokel and mask for kids to play with fish

Binoculars to watch vultures/eagles, boar, beaver etc.

take it steady on those gorge roads
