Yes, me too - we usually take a couple of home cooked meals, frozen ready to eat on the overnight stops, plus picnic stuff for at least the first day, and milk of course. More recently we've taken less than normal, as we no longer have teenage boys with us, but planned, this year to stock up a bit more as we're meeting my sister in Burgundy and she has small children, and less room!
This year we'll have to look at shopping much earlier in the holiday than normal.
Did think about making some 'milk ice cubes' ready for de-frosting for that first cuppa - and wonder if these might get past the sniffer dogs!!!!!
