All all, off to the Vendee for the first time on Thursday, has any one just come back, any idea what the weather will be like and advice on clothes to pack for a 4 & 3 year old would be appreciated. Very, Very excited children (and adults) in my house!

I'd pack a mixture, lots of layers, shorts and tees and a fleece jumper, waterproof jackets and a pair of flipflops/wellie/crocs in case it gets muddy on the site. I prefer to go prepared, with lots of bits I can just chuck on if its cooler, but then always lose a layer if it gets hot. Take sunhats for the kids and plenty of sunscreen of course! We're also off on Thursday, but the long range forecasts aren't desperately reliable so I'm not even thinking about the weather until Tues/Wed next week!
