Hi all, I am off to paris on wed 15th Aug and only have the old style green driving license. Is this ok or do I need an IDP and if so how do I get it at such short notice.
HELP
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
And me - but because we've just changed address I can now apply for a photocard without having to pay the fee! (Will wait until after we come back from France, though).

I'm the same Val. Our postcode has changed as we have a new sorting office so we can now get the new licence for free but we will wait until this trip is over. Never been stopped by the police to know whether the old green licence would be a problem anyway.
Its not a problem -There's a thread on it.
Now driving with a licence that doesn't show your current address might be a different matter First step to Guantanamo I think - Take some orange ear-rings with you.
I wish someone would change my postcode so I could get a free photolicence before I get any older.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
