Thanks P. Found Diree and what may even be the supermarket on Geoportail and that is definitely the closest option. Good to hear positive reports about the site as well. Looking at the site plan we shouldnt be on 41 as we have a pitch with private bathroom booked.

 We stayed in a rented mobile on this site a couple of years ago. It was very pleasant and fairly quiet. If you turn left immediately out of the campsite and left at the T Jnct you will go along a forest road and there is miles and miles of a beautiful sandy beach with wicked waves. Everyone parks along the roadside but there are some designated carparks with refreshments, you just need to park as near to these as possible and take the tough walk over the sand dunes. Well worth it.

Well this is a very nice way to celebrate my 3000th post and say ta ra for 2 weeks. In 2 days we will be on those beautiful beaches Pam, thanks for the info, and thanks to everyone for all the lovely sightseeing, shopping and beach info you have passed on to me. This is our first time on an all singing, all dancing site as we normally go for very small, quiet sites so it is also nice to get the positive feedback about L'Oree du Bois. It all sounds wonderful so see you in 2 weeks after what, I am sure will be a wonderful holiday. Off to bed now as we are up a 3 am.
