Have a look at Les Sablons at Portiragne Plage. Decent pool and direct beach access. Fairly large site, but pitches well away from entertainment area. We found it quiet after 22.00

Which site did you stay on ?- we were at Le Barcarres in June and stayed at Camping California. We thought it was a really good site - although it was fairly quiet as it was early season.

Hi

Maybe consider Domaine Des Naiades near Grimaud. The entertainment on site is fairly low key (it's not every night and doesn't go on too late), although distant music can be heard from other sites. The pool is a 50 metre olympic-sized job, and there are two slides into their own pool.

Edited to mention beaches: the nearest is about 750m walk / cycle from the gate, and is accessed via another campsite (Prairies de la Mere). This is very crowded in high season (to the point where there is no sand between neighbours' towels). Alternatively you can drive about 8 miles to Pampelone which is much less crowded and is not within the bay of St Trop, so has nicer water too.

If I get round to it I'll write a review.

TT.

Just got back from spending afew days at  Domaine Des Naiades. We loved the site but did find it quite a walk from our emplacement, which was right at the back of the site (lovely view though ) If you are prepared to walk we found lovely areas to sit on the beach, right next to the wall at Port Grimaud. People from the Praires de la Mere site did not appear to walk beyond their beach!

We stayed here this summer. Nice site- pitches well away from the smallish bar so no noise. Our pitch was two minutes walk to the beach and a good size. No slides in the pool though and no individual showers. Good take away and resteraunt on site- very popular so you had to book. Shower blocks were sparkly clean as were loos. Would return to this site, Claire
