Thank you for your recent communication with this office.
We anticipate that fares will be available for next year toward the end of September on our Dover - Calais and North Sea routes. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused and I would be grateful if you could contact us closer to the time.
This was the reply to an e-mail I had sent a few days ago
thanks for the replies i have been going on the website everyday since coming back from france in august, just like to book so i have something to look forward to. but looks like i will have to wait a little longer : (
I think that the confusion arises from the fact that the advert for 2008 Holidays still states "Book early for 2008 - Portsmouth-Bilbao from £199 - other routes coming soon". However 2008 holidays are definitely bookable at least for the North Sea routes.
They currently have an offer on in which trailers go free and they were happy to include this even when using clubcard vouchers (in the past I have not been allowed to advantage of offers with clubcard vouchers and have had to pay the full price).
Just booked ours Hull-Rotterdam for Easter paid in full with Tesco vouchers, yay :) Need to book our Landal accomodations now.
Hubby on phone now booking Hull-Zeebrugge for August, not got quite enough to cover entire amount but we're not far off (been saving for ages!)
Making the most of the vouchers seeing as its last time we can use them from Hull
I guess after that it'll be driving to Dover for us.
Out of interest, does anyone know why the Hull-Zeebrugge crossing is significantly more expensive than Hull-Rotterdam? Is it the fact that Zeebrugge is more popular route being closer to France?
Forgot to mention that the price quoted over the phone was £156 cheaper than the on-line quote I had on the screen in front of me. Just goes to show that the price you get is a pure lottery.

Just booked for ours, Hull to Zeebrugge car, caravan and 2 adults.
Out on 16/8/08 back on 28/9/08, including cabin (outside 2 berth) £348.
This read like a good deal but I note you are not hitting much of the school holidays - leaving the UK mid August and returning late September. When, of course, the prices reduce in any case....... I checked our dates and timing and Good Grief has the price taken a hike! Even the meals are more expensive by £10 per person.
We normally go end of May but because we have a family wedding early June have had to go later than we would normally like but still outside school hols.
We also use ASCI Card or Camping Cheques so we can take advantage of one of the perks of getting older and go outside peak season.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
