whilst in france was talking to another motorhome owner who suggested a camp site book of europe ,think it was called camping car ? or could anyone suggest any other good comprehensive site book

Many of us consider the Caravan Club Euripean Guides as the best, simply because members contribute the reviews. Alan Rogers also do a good guide, either for Europe generally or individual countries. I Think the one you mention is possibly produced by one of the European motoring organisations. Given its name it might include Aires that can be used by motorcaravans. Perhaps Google might be your friend!
